Mr. CHAY Yee Meng
Chairman and Group CEO

 

Mr. Chay, a Certified Public Accountant, began his working career as an Audit and Tax Accountant with Arthur Young & Company (now known as Ernst & Young).

 

In 1982, Mr. Chay joined General Motors Singapore’s Finance Department for five years handling accounting, costing and managing systems implementation. In 1987, he was named Director and Financial Controller of SCI Manufacturing, a US based electronics manufacturing company. He was later named as SCI’s Asia Regional Controller.

 

In 1992, Mr. Chay co-founded Natsteel Electronics (NEL), taking over a company which was about to be liquidated. As Founding Director and CFO of the company, Mr. Chay and his team of management, successfully turned the company into strong profitability and continued to grow the company for the next five years. In 1997, NEL launched the largest IPO in Singapore with a market capitalization in excess of $700 million. In 2000, NEL had become the 5th largest contract manufacturer in the world with revenue of $2 billion with subsidiaries in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, UK, Hungary and Mexico. In 2001, NEL was taken private in a $4 billion deal and merged with US-based Solectron Technology, Inc. Mr. Chay then served as Solectron's Head of Finance, Asia-Pacific Region until 2003.

 

Mr. Chay also co-founded ECS Holdings Ltd, and served as Founding Director and CFO until ECS went IPO in 2001. ECS grew from a $50m into a $2.5 billion company in 2008 when Mr. Chay left the company after a merger of ECS with another company.

 

In 2003, Mr. Chay co-founded InfoWave; an engineering company specialized in developing equipment and solutions using GPS, RFID and other wireless technologies. The company now focuses on security monitoring and planning, ERP for land and sea transport, and has exported products to many countries.

 

Mr. Chay also holds directorship in National Kidney Foundation Singapore, Trek 2000 International, ST Electronics (Info-Security), and Nanofilm Technologies International.

Ms. Lilian NG
Chief Financial Officer

 

Ms. Ng is part of the Founding Management Team of InfoWave and heads the Finance Division for InfoWave and its Group of Companies.

 

Ms. Ng started her career as an Accountant with Singapore Computer Systems (SCS), heading the finance function for overseas subsidiaries in Brunei, Hong Kong, China and a SCS spin-off, headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA.

 

Prior to joining InfoWave, she was the Business Development Manager with ST Electronics. Her portfolio includes mergers and acquisitions, monitoring and overseeing various local and overseas investments under ST Electronics Group. In addition, she was the Treasurer cum financial advisor for Incubators@Work!, a $20 million intrapreneurship development programme under Singapore Technologies.

 

Ms. Ng holds a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

Mr. LIM Kah Chuan
Chief Technology Officer

InfoWave Pte Ltd

 

Mr. Lim joined in May 2010 as Chief Technology Officer of InfoWave Group of Companies. He has 20 years of experience in IT industry and his area of expertise includes IT security, payment services and business processes optimization.

 

In 1998, Mr. Lim started his career at Singapore's national defence R&D organization, DSO National Laboratories, where he specialized in computer system security and vulnerability research work. His role was to examine and ensure that the government’s information systems are secure.

 

Mr. Lim co-founded WizVision, an end-to-end payment, e-banking and loyalty solutions provider, in 2000, and held management appointment as Chief Technology Officer. The company was later invested by Singapore Technologies Electronics. In 2003, Mr. Lim was appointed President for the company with responsibility for all aspects of the performance and operations of the business. In this role, he leads sales, business development, and product development. Under his leadership, WizVision successfully ventured into regional countries including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia and became a leading provider to online payment processors and merchants in Singapore and Japan.

 

In 2007, Mr. Lim joined DCrypt as the R&D Manager where he managed a team overseeing system and application security research. In this role, he spearheaded the development of next-generation business applications and e-payment initiatives in Singapore.

 

In 2008, Mr. Lim was appointed the Chief Technology Officer of Singapore HealthPartners and was responsible for planning, developing and implementing the IT strategy for Singapore’s first integrated complex, Connexion, which comprised a medical centre, a hospital, and a hotel at Farrer Park. His responsibilities included designing the IT infrastructure; core applications such as Hospital Information System, RIS/PACS, Pharmacy system, Central Sterile Supply System, and other specialty specific applications.

 

Mr. Lim graduated from Imperial College, London in 1998 with a Master of Engineering Degree (First Class Honours) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He was awarded the Silvanus P Thomson Prize (1996), Northern Telecom Prize (1997) and Governors' M.Eng Prize (1998) at Imperial College.

Mr. LING Wee Seng
SVP, Group Corporate Marketing and Business Development

Managing Director, InfoWave Pte Ltd

Mr. Ling has 25 years of industry and consulting experience. The first 10 years of his career was in the end-user environment and the next 15 years in the Business and Technology Solution Consulting and Business Application businesses.

Mr. Ling joined InfoWave in August 2009 as Senior Vice-President for Group Corporate Marketing and Business Development and Managing Director for InfoWave’s Security & Technology Solutions Business Unit. He has overall responsibility for developing and growing the Group’s business across all industries worldwide with particular focus in the Defence, Homeland Security, Distribution & Retail, Travel & Leisure, and Logistics & Transportation industries. He is responsible for marketing the Group’s products and services, branding, industry recognition, major customer acquisition, and new revenue growth. For the Security and Technology Solutions business, he leads sales, business development, product development, support and services.

In October 2009, Mr. Ling assumed the role of Managing Director for InfoWave’s Telematics Business Unit, and InfoHub Solutions, where he leads the sales, business development, product development, support, and services functions of the business.

Mr. Ling specializes in Technology Consulting and Business Solutions in the area of IT Infrastructure Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Strategic Outsourcing Process (SO). His area of expertise includes consulting and implementation of Supply Chain Solutions (SCM & CPFR), Logistics and Transportation (FMS, TMS, DMS, Telematics, RFID, ITS and ATS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business-to-Business (B2B) and Security Management Solutions.

Prior to InfoWave, Mr. Ling was Director of Business Development at Cable & Wireless (C&W), a global telecommunications company, whose core businesses include submarine cable and telecommunications solutions in the area of private networks and telecom services and strategic outsourcing especially in the area of Data Center Services. He was instrumental in bringing C&W into new industry verticals and new geographic markets in Asia Pacific. He was also responsible for growing the New Enterprise Business Unit in new client acquisitions, while meeting revenue and margin goals and establishing its long term go-to-market strategies.

Before joining C&W, Mr. Ling was the Global Solutions Leader for IBM’s Legacy Transformation Solution; he was also the Asia Pacific Business Solution Leader for its Travel and Transportation Industry.

 

At HP, Mr. Ling headed the Asia Pacific Logistics and Transportation Practice. He was also the Asia Pacific business owner for HP’s RFID, Real-time Supply Chain (RTSC) and Collaborative Business Infrastructure (CBI) business.

 

Prior to HP, Mr. Ling was the SVP for ECnet with worldwide responsibilities for sales, business development, marketing and professional services. ECnet was in the eSCM, B2B, C2C business. With Deloitte Consulting, he was the Senior Manager responsible for its South East Asia SAP Practice.

Mr. Ling’s early career was in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with Black & Decker, Western Digital and Nixdorf Computer.

Mr. Maurice SEE
Managing Director

Mr. See has 20 years of experience in the IT industry specializing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions. His area of expertise includes streamlining and automating business processes and transforming corporate strategy into performance management frameworks.

Mr. See joined in March 2009 as Managing Director of Autoscan Technology with responsibility for all aspects of the performance and operations of the business. In this role, he leads sales, business development, product development, support and services.

 

In his other portfolio as the Senior Vice-President of InfoWave’s Corporate Performance Management BU, Mr. See guides his team in bringing new business intelligence and corporate performance management solutions to market.

Prior to Autoscan Technology, Mr. See was Group Managing Director of Sandz Solutions, an IT and consulting company, where he started a new performance management and business intelligence practice. At Sandz Solutions, he successfully built the company into a recognized leader in the rapidly growing market for BPM across 5 countries. Under his leadership, the company earned the status as a Hyperion Partner for 3 consecutive years.

Before joining Sandz Solutions, Mr. See was Country Manager of Glovia International, the leading provider of extended ERP solutions, where he spearheaded sales and marketing strategy, and business development. Prior to that, he was General Manager of Ariba in Indonesia and Thailand, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, sales and marketing, and channel management. Mr. See’s early career was with Infinium Software, Datalogix and SAP.

Mr. See holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Saint Mary’s University in Canada.

Mr. GOH Yong Seng
Managing Director

Mr. Goh currently serves as Managing Director of MavenTree Technology where he is responsible for formulating, developing and ensuring consistent implementation of the company's strategic plans, policies and operation procedures. In his other portfolio as the Technology Director of Autoscan Technology, Mr. Goh is responsible for planning short and long range technology strategies, assessing new and emerging technologies, and overseeing new business process driven technology improvements.

In 2000, Mr. Goh co-founded dotERP, which specialized in SAP integration middleware products and solutions. dotERP was invested by Singapore Technologies and Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP). He took over the management of mPayment, a payment processing company in 2005, and subsequently acquired a major stake in the company through acquisition from Greendot Capital and ST Electronics.

Mr. Goh also co-founded a Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) Status company, Resolv Technologies in 2005 to serve the Malaysia software services market and held management appointment as Chief Technology Officer. In 2006, he was appointed Director of InfoHub Solutions, a member of the InfoWave Group, which focused on Software as a Service (SaaS) for enterprise customers. Later in 2008, he was appointed as Director of Technology in Autoscan Technology.

Mr. Goh has excellent enterprise system experience. His understanding of software application architecture has enabled him to build strong software products and services companies. Under his leadership, his team of competent and committed consultants and software engineers are able to extend their reach out to new enterprise customers and increase existing customers' confidence with high quality deliveries. His successful customer engagement experience spans across oil and gas, healthcare, aviation, financial institutions and government agencies.

Mr. Goh graduated from Imperial College, London in 1998 with a First Class Honours and Master Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He topped the cohort in Imperial College and won the prestigious IEE Prize, as well as the Sir Bruce White Prize. After his studies, he worked in DSO National Laboratories, and in 2001, he won the Defence Technology Prize (Team) for his contribution in wireless communications.

Mr. Peter HOON
Managing Director

Mr. Peter Hoon currently serves as Managing Director, with responsibility for all aspects of the performance and operations of SmartBus’ business in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Hoon has more than 32 years of management experience in leading engineering and manufacturing companies in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Europe and the United States. These include general management, sales, marketing, and distribution.

Prior to joining SmartBus, Mr. Hoon was the Chief Operating Officer of public-listed Intcera High Tech Group, overseeing the Group’s manufacturing business in Taiwan and China. Before joining Intcera High Tech Group, Mr. Hoon was Director of Wuxi Leaf Confectionary Co., the world’s third largest pharmaceutical company, where he oversaw sales, marketing and distribution offices in 12 key provinces in China. Mr. Hoon’s early career was with Wuxi Amcol Electronics Co., Nganthavee Electronics, and General Electric.

Mr. Hoon holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and Business Administration from Honolulu University in Hawaii, USA.

Ms. Cassidy NG

Managing Director

With more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Ms. Ng is the driving force behind Blueberry Telecom’s ventures into emerging markets. As one of the company’s founders, and today head of its main office in Singapore, Ms. Ng plays a crucial role in identifying new market opportunities and building the company through partnerships and strategic alliances.

 

Ms. Ng earlier served as Wholesale Account Manager in Verizon Business, a global communications, IT and security solutions provider, where she managed telco operators and service providers in South Asia markets.

 

Prior to joining Verizon Business, Ms. Ng was a Product Manager of SingTel, Asia’s leading communications group, where she managed data products including Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), Local Leased Lines, Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and Telephone Services.

Ms. Ng holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences from National University of Singapore, and a Master of International Marketing from University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom.

Mr. LOH Choon Seng

Mr. Loh joined in August 2006 as Managing Director of InfoWave Telematics Business Unit with responsibility for all aspects of the performance and operations of the unit before taking up his new role as the Managing Director of Lissome Systems, in August 2009. In this new role, he leads his team in implementing intelligent homeland security and defence solutions for government agencies in the region.

Mr. Loh has more than 13 years’ management experience in leading engineering and ICT companies. These include general management, sales and marketing, quality assurance and system engineering.

Prior to joining InfoWave, Mr. Loh was the General Manager (Engineering and Radiocomm Systems) of NCS, overseeing business areas including homeland security and defense solutions, airport and transportation systems, and integrated security solutions.

Before NCS, Mr. Loh spent 11 years in various management roles with ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) covering defense electronics, communications and security solution business.

Mr. Loh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Production Engineering) from National University of Singapore/ Nanyang Technological University (NUS/NTU), a Master of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from NUS, and a Master of Business Administration (Accountancy) from NTU.
